This page summarises our key policies in plain English.
Business hours & contact
- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm.
- I return calls and messages ASAP during business hours.
- Pick-up address is where we meet for the lesson. For any changes, please give 12 hours’ notice (texting your instructor is best).
Vehicles & safety
- Automatic and manual cars available; both fitted with dual controls for extra safety.
- No passengers are permitted in the vehicle during lessons.
- You must be fit to drive at every lesson. The instructor may pause/stop a lesson if safety is compromised.
Licence & logbook
- Eligibility: To book a lesson, you must hold a current NSW learner licence.
- Bring your current learner licence and show it at the start of each lesson.
- Bring your learner logbook; we’ll fill it out during the lesson.
- NSW: your first 10 × 1-hour lessons with an accredited instructor can count as 3 hours each (up to 30 hours total).
Booking & registration
- I use the booking portal.
- I’ll need to register/sign in before the portal shows packages, prices and availability.
- Please call or text and I’ll help.
Payments
- Lessons are paid prior or at the beginning of each lesson.
- Payment options: Cash / EFT / PayID to the instructor.
- Package deals are available in Yloodrive (use within the stated validity period).
Cancellations, rescheduling & changes
- Please give 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, otherwise a cancellation fee may apply (up to the full lesson fee).
- Pick-up address changes: please provide 12 hours’ notice.
- If you’re unwell and let us know the night before, discretion may apply.
- Arriving late reduces your lesson time (lessons end at the scheduled time).
Test-day vehicle hire
- Vehicle hire is available to eligible students for test day (includes a pre-test warm-up).
- Use of the instructor vehicle is subject to safety and readiness assessments.
Professional standards
- I'm a member of the Driver Trainers Association.
Privacy
- I collect only what’s needed to manage your bookings, lessons and payments.
- I don’t share your information beyond these purposes.
